Real Astrology is Richer Than You Might Think
You’ve probably read your Sun Sign horoscope in the daily newspaper and laughed it off a million times, but did you know that real astrology is much more complex and accurate than that?
A real astrologer will need to know not just the day you were born, but also the time and the geographic location of your birthplace. Then, the astrologer will draw up a chart showing where each planet and constellation was located at the precise moment of your birth.
Having drawn up this chart, a real astrologer will then look for patterns and relationships between the planets that speak to your unique identity as an individual and how the heavens will affect your abilities and your destiny. Real astrology is incredibly complicated and requires skill, intuition, and many years of study. Often real astrologers use computer software to insure their calculations are precise and accurate.
A chart of the heavens at the time of your birth is called a ‘natal chart’, and it yields much more specific information about who you really are than your Sun Sign. The more you learn about real astrology, the less flakey it seems and the more impressed you will be. For thousands of years people have consulted the stars for guidance. Isn’t it possible that in all that time they might well have gotten a few things right?
