Chinese Zodiac: Sign of the Dragon

Chinese Zodiac: The DragonIf you were born in the years 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, or 2000 you were born in the Chinese Year of the Dragon and that Sign rules your personality and attractions. Dragon people are dramatic, fiery, and always have an entourage of excited followers. They are incredibly charismatic and tend to be proud and opinionated. They live on a grand scale and have high ideals that they apply ruthlessly to themselves and others. Dragon people do not lose arguments. They will intimidate whoever disagrees with them until the dissenter backs down or just gives up and goes away.

Dragons make extremely loyal friends but the flip side of that is that if you get on their wrong side, they will take the grudge to the death and never let up on you. Dragons are passionate in love but are always the aggressors, the ones breaking hearts, not vice versa. Dragons need to be believed in to do their best. They can be fantastic motivators but tend to jump into situations a bit rashly at times. To keep the attention of a dragon you must truly believe in him or her devoutly, and you will be rewarded with their affection, but if you are easily hurt, better to pass on the relationship. They cannot hold their feelings in, whether positive or negative, and they cannot keep a secret. If they lose their fan club, they wither.

Dragons are most compatible with Rats, Snakes, Monkeys, and Roosters.

Chinese Zodiac: Sign Of the Tiger

If you were born in 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, or 1998, you were born in the Chinese Year of the Tiger and the Sign of the Tiger influences your personality, your decisions, and the people and activities that attract you. Tiger people, like real tigers, are courageous and powerful. They tend to be very deep thinkers, and are remarkably sensitive and sympathetic to others. Tiger people can be short-tempered however, and have special trouble relating to people in authority. Their suspicion of older people and authority figures can lead them into unnecessary conflicts.

In China, the Tiger, not the Lion, is considered the King of Beasts, and for this reason Tiger people tend to be greatly revered and are found in positions of power and fame. Tigers make excellent entrepreneurs, military leaders, poets, and actors because of their unusual combination of strength, power, and sensitivity toward others. Tiger people can often take a very long time to come to a decision because they have trouble making up their minds. They are prone to either make poor decisions much too fast, or make good decisions too late. Tiger people get along well with Horses, Dragons, And Dogs and are generous friends. Some famous Tiger people are Emily Dickinson, Tom Cruise, Marilyn Monroe, Jody Foster, and Hugh Hefner.

Chinese Zodiac: Sign of the Ox

If you were born in the year 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, or 1997 you were born under the Chinese Sign of the Ox. The Ox is a patient, stubborn animal that possesses great strength, and Ox people possess these same qualities. People born under the sign of the Ox tend to be patient, speak very little, and inspire confidence in others. When Ox people do decide to speak, they are eloquent. They tend to be very alert, both mentally and physically.

On the negative side, people born in the year of the Ox have strong tempers and hate to be opposed. They can be very eccentric and once they get an idea in their heads they can also be bigoted about it and will not let it go. The harder they are pushed, the more they hold on. Do not argue with an Ox; it is pointless. If you are an Ox person you probably enjoy a set routine and will work hard and methodically until you reach your goals, no matter how difficult the path. Ox people make loyal friends and rarely tire or become ill, but are not tolerant of weakness in others.

People born in the Year of the Ox are most compatible with Snakes, Roosters, and Rats. They are most like people born under the sign of Capricorn in the Western Zodiac. Some famous Oxes include Warren Beatty, Eddie Murphy, Bruce Springsteen, Meryl Streep, and jack Nicholson.
