Feng Shui Tips for Attracting Prosperity

Westerners would not usually think of placing ing a mirror above the kitchen stove, but in China this is a common feng shui practice meant to attract wealth and prosperity. You can purchase small mirrors, usually framed in red, made specifically for this purpose. Feng shui is more than just a trick here or there to cause this or that result however. Particularly when it comes to attracting prosperity, it is important to have a balanced and clear life. This means getting rid of clutter, and making sure there are no ‘dead ends’ in your home. (For example, many homes have hallways that dead end with bedrooms on either side. Placing a mirror at the end of the hallway can correct this by allow energy to flow more freely and not become trapped in the dead end.) The entrance to your home should be clear and appealing. If your front door or stoop is in disrepair, this will not attract the kind of energy you want to become prosperous. The entrance should be attractive and in excellent repair. Another feng shui tip to attract money is to hang three red ribbons with Chinese coins tied to the ends on your back door handle. Cut the ribbons in lengths of the number 9, which is associated with wealth; such as one 9 inches, one 18 inches, and one 27 inches.

How to Balance Your Chakras

In the Hindu religious system, the seven chakras are spinning wheels of energy located within the human body along the spinal column. When all seven chakras are activated and balanced, the human body, mind, and spirit experiences optimal health and well-being. Activation and balancing of the chakras are complex topics on which many pages have been written, but some very basic steps apply. Some of the most basic measures you can take to keep your chakras in balance include the following: 1) Get wet. Take long baths or showers, swim, walk in the rain, anything that keeps you in contact with water will help to cleanse and balance your energy. 2) Incorporate colors associated with blocked chakras into your decor and dress. Learn the colors of the chakras and use them as needed. 3) Meditate every day. Meditation naturally balances your energy. 4) Exercise. Regular physical exercise grounds you and raises your energy vibration. You don’t have to do anything complicated. Even a 20-minute walk twice a day will have dramatic positive effects. 5) Eat well. Try to eat whole foods that occur naturally. An apple is a whole food. A Twinkie is not. The more fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and natural oils you incorporate into your diet, the higher your energy vibration and the better your balance. Finally, 6) Sleep well and regularly. Eight hours a night is best at minimum, and stick to your routine for the most refreshing sleep and highest energy frequency. These basic steps can be taken by anyone to balance chakra energies, and the results are surefire, fast, and worth the effort.
